xTuple ERP is a client-server application with both a client and a server software component. The client runs on users' desktops, and the server runs on a machine that the users can access via a network.
Before you begin setting up a server, there are a some essential decisions you must make:
Do you want to install the server on-premise or in the cloud?
What operating system will you use for the server?
Do you want a non-web-enabled or a web-enabled server?
