Quality test documents are the actual documents used to initiate and record test activities. The tests are found under
. Quality tests are created manually by using the option from right-clicking on a quality plan on the Quality Plan list. Alternately tests are created when inventory or production transactions occur and a suitable quality plan is created. Tests hold information copied from the quality plan and the specifications as at the time of creating the test. This includes information about the plan being used and its revision, and specification instructions. The workflow activities will be copied across from the quality plan.On the
tab, you can view the quality test item associated with the quality test. You can click the button in order to open the Quality Test item screen, record your result, tests status, and notes.To create or view comments related to a quality test, select the

tab. You are also able to attach quality plans and quality tests.To create or view notes related to a quality plan, select the
tab.Documents are also available for linking and storage against quality tests. These can be used to record detailed test results, images or whatever document is needed to be linked to tests.
Require a test measurement or reading to be entered into the Actual field. Additional test notes can also be entered. The test will automatically pass/fail the item based on whether the value entered falls within the specification tolerances.
Allow the tester to enter any notes on the item but they then have to manually set the test item to pass/fail status.
If any test items fail, the overall test status will be set to fail and follow-on workflow on-deferred dispositions will be triggered. If all test items pass, the overall test status will be set to pass and follow-on workflow on-success dispositions will be triggered. Once all test items are completed, the overall completion status of the test will be set.
For tests that fail you are able to record a reason code that can be used for later analysis.
