Since all the xTuple editions share a common code base, it makes sense that they also share a Reference Guide. To highlight the differences between editions―and also several extension packages―we've placed colored bars in the margins of the text. If no colored bar exists, the feature is shared by all editions. The following color codes are used:
Indicates the feature is part of the core commercial functionality shared by all commercial editions of xTuple ERP.
Indicates the feature is part of the Distribution Edition.
Indicates the feature is found in a commercial package built upon the core commercial functionality. This includes the Manufacturing and Enterprise Editions, as well as xTuple Connect and other commercial packages.
Indicates the feature is found in a free and open source extension package.

The screenshots and examples used throughout this Reference Guide are taken from the Enterprise Edition for Windows. However, there is no functional difference between the Windows, Mac, or Linux versions. You will only find minor graphical user interface differences.
