To depreciate all assets, go to the following menu: .
When depreciating all assets, here are the steps to follow:
Select the button, to create depreciation transactions for all outstanding depreciation requirements (up until the end of the previous month).
If you select the Post Depreciation check box the depreciation transactions are posted to the ledger immediately otherwise you will need to separately post the entries.
If you are running the xTuple Connect application, you can schedule the depreciation calculation as follows:
Select the button.
This will bring up the Submit EDI window, where you can define the email notification recipient and the subject and body of the outgoing email.
To post the transactions to the ledger, ensure the query parameter is set to true.
Once you submit the depreciation query, go into the xtConnect console and reschedule the query on a regular basis.
