4. Running MRP

4.1. Displaying Results of MRP after MPS Run

To see how MRP will respond to the master production scheduling (MPS) orders we created, it will be necessary to run MRP. To run MRP by planner code, follow these steps:

  1. Pull down the Schedule module menu.

  2. Select the Scheduling submenu.

  3. Select the Run MRP submenu.

  4. Choose the by Planner Code option.

  5. Check All Planner Codes, All Warehouses, and enter a Cutoff Date that is one year in the future (+365).

Run MRP by Planner Code

  1. Click the OK button.

  2. Wait while MRP runs in the background.

  3. Screen will close when MRP is finished.
