The process of bringing ERP items online is not difficult, but does require some trial and error. There may be times as you go through this process when information doesn't appear on the portal as you think it should. This is normal and is to be expected when you are implementing an xTupleCommerce portal. Just remember that you will sometimes need to clear the portal's cache to resolve issues with data inconsistency. Flushing the cache will generally resolve most (if not all) inconsistencies you may be seeing—even after you have gone live with your site.
To flush the cache on an xTupleCommerce portal, follow these steps:
Log into the portal as a manager.
In the far left corner of the
menu, you will see a small icon.Hover over this icon with your mouse.
Select the
option when it appears.The action may take a few moments to complete, but when it does you can see whether flushing the cache resolved your data inconsistencies.
