4.2. Item Site Configuration
In this book we use the term Job Items to refer to manufactured items which have an item site where the costing method is Job. It's important to be clear that the configuration for job items is at the item site level—and not at the Item master level. The following screenshot illustrates where the job costing method is defined on the Item Site screen:
Only manufactured items are eligible to assume the job costing method. Once the job costing method is applied to a specified item, that item in that item site will be treated as a job item and processed accordingly.
