To make a copy of a bill of materials (BOM), go to Products > Bill of Materials > Copy. The following screen will appear:

When copying a BOM, you are presented with the following options:

Item Number (Source Item): Enter the item number of the manufactured item whose BOM you want to copy.
UOM (Source Item): Displays inventory UOM automatically when item number is entered into Item Number field. The item description will also appear.
Item Number (Target Item): Enter the item number of the manufactured item whose BOM you wish to create by this copy.
UOM (Target Item): Displays inventory UOM automatically when item number is entered into Item Number field. The item description will also appear.
