The Rescan Privileges utility enables a user to realize newly-granted privileges without having to log out and log back in to the application. To realize newly-granted privileges, simply go to System > Rescan Privileges to execute the utility. The privileges for the current user will be rescanned and updated—without the user having to log out of the application.
