Credit cards and payment gateway information must be secured by encryption. To set up encryption in your xTuple ERP, see the "Configure Encryption" section of the xTuple Reference Manual. Be sure that the encryption key on your local machines perfectly match the encryption key on your Node.JS server. If you must make an update to either of these keys at any time, you are required to restart your Node.JS server then your ERP server.
