The xTuple Fixed Asset packages are a series of xTuple extension packages which may be applied to any xTuple ERP edition. The package is easy to install and once installed, it seamlessly integrates with the rest of your ERP functionality.
To install xTuple fixed assets, you will need the following items:
This is the package installer. It is a cross-platform application which connects to your xTuple ERP database and installs the xTuple packages . The updater is the same tool that is used for upgrading xTuple ERP databases from one version to the next. It also converts xTuple ERP from one edition to the next (e.g., PostBooks to Enterprise).
This is the free and open source xTuple extension package which integrates fixed assets with your xTuple ERP. The file is loaded into the updater, which in turn applies the package to your xTuple database. Like all xTuple database upgrade scripts, the file ends with a .gz
The Fixed Asset Depreciation (assetdepn) and Fixed Asset Maintenance (assetmaint) packages must have the Core Fixed Asset (asset) package installed prior to their installation. Furthermore, there are specific version dependencies between the asset and add-on packages. At all times it is recommended that you use the most up-to-date fixed asset and (depreciation and maintenance packages).
This Commercial Extension package automates the calculation and posting of depreciation, with greater visibility over the value of fixed assets by each asset.
This Commercial Extension package allows organizations to plan maintenance into the future and schedule preventative maintenance on assets.
