The xTuple Dashboards package—otherwise known as xtdash—is a commercial xTuple extension package which may be applied to any xTuple ERP edition. The package is easy to install and seamlessly integrates with the rest of your ERP functionality.
To install xTuple Dashboards, you will need the following items:
This is the package installer. It is a cross-platform application which connects to your xTuple ERP database and installs the xTuple Dashboards package (xtdash). The Updater is the same tool that is used for upgrading xTuple ERP databases from one version to the next. It also converts xTuple ERP from one edition to the next (e.g., PostBooks to Standard).
This is the xTuple extension package which integrates dashboards with your xTuple ERP. The file is loaded into the Updater, which in turn applies the package to your xTuple database. Like all xTuple database upgrade scripts, the file ends with a .gz
The nodejsshim package must be installed before installing the xtdash package.
The nodejsshim extension package contains JavaScript code to emulate a Node.js API/environment in Qt Script. This allows one to write JavaScript code that can run in either Node.js or the xTuple Qt Client.
